utaba T-FHSS Airplane Spec Radio System Overview

The 10J 2.4 GHz 10-Channel T-FHSS Radio System from Futaba features a airplane-optimized transmitter (radio controller) and receiver that can be used to control a multitude of RC aircraft, including fixed-wing planes, helicopters and multi-rotors, and gilders. The transmitter features 10 channels and supports receivers with the S-FHSS and T-FHSS Air protocols, such as the included R3008SB. The throttle gimbal is ratcheted rather than smooth, which is considered the preferred arrangement by many airplane fliers. The transmitter also defaults to the Mode 2 stick operation when powered on, where roll and pitch are controlled with the pilot's right hand while yaw and throttle are controlled with the pilot's left hand.

For 10-channel control, the transmitter features one variable knob, five 2-position switches, two 3-positions switches, one momentary switch, and two digital levers. It is able to store settings for up to 30 models and features a built-in S.Bus programming link for optional S.Bus servos. Both the transmitter and receiver are telemetry-compatible, with the data viewed on the transmitter's back-lit LCD screen and audibly reported via a headphone jack. The system also provides vibration and audio alerts for alarm conditions and low battery warnings.
